Kandiyohi Power Cooperative, Spicer, MN is a progressive member-owned electric cooperative that provides reliable electric services since 1935 to more than 8,000 residents, businesses and industries. As an electric cooperative we are part of the largest electric utility network in the nation, providing power to over 30 million consumers in 46 states and serving more than 75% of the geographic area of the United States.
Due to a retirement at the end of January 2015, the Kandiyohi Power Cooperative Board is seeking to fill the position of Chief Executive Officer. Candidates should have broad leadership experience and skills related to member relations, human resources, strategy, finance and operations. Candidates should also have strong written and verbal communication skills.
To qualify, candidates must have a Bachelors degree in business, finance, or a related field and 4
years management leadership experience. Electric utility experience is preferred. The successful candidate must be a change leader, be strategic and visionary, people oriented and foster employee development. The candidate must be committed to Kandiyohi Power Cooperative members, employees and all service area communities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
